Program Activities
- Monitoring the immunization levels of 2 year-olds via retrospective daycare and family childcare provider record reviews audits
- Monitoring the immunization assessment to all kindergarten age children in the county
- Training of childcare providers, school and other program staff
- Record auditing and training of health care providers and staff
- Training and technical support of school staff
- Workshops and curriculum presentations to school staff
- Provision of outreach media, print and electronic for schools and health care providers
- Sponsorship of satellite immunization conferences
- Monitoring hospital immunization practices for newborns in the county
- Supplying all hospitals in the County that have labor and delivery services with immunization information for new moms
- Providing immunization clinics for children and flu immunization clinics for adults
