Report any of the following emergency situations by calling (650) 372-6200:
- Food poisonings
- Sewage spills from broken piping or septic systems
- Hazardous materials spills or abandoned containers
Register your complaint on the Environmental Health Complaint System for the following types of complaints by calling (650) 599-1112, or by filling in our Online Complaint Form.
- Garbage accumulation (junk, debris, yard waste, decaying food)
- Animal wastes (feces)
- Poor housing conditions including:
- Leaking roofs
- Mold and mildew
- Faulty plumbing
- Inadequate heating
- Electrical problems
- Insects (including cockroaches, bees, ticks, flies, lice)
- Cleanliness or improper food handling at food establishments
- Noise complaints in the Unincorporated area
