| SaraT (ST) is responsible for providing oversight across the Health Policy and Planning Unit. She started working at the Health Department in the Children's Health Initiative in late 2004 and transitioned into the Health Policy and Planning unit in September 2005. Prior to working at the Health Department she worked at the California-Mexico Health Initiative as the organization's policy and program evaluator in the areas of binational health and access to care. She has previous experience in the areas of community economic development/redevelopment and living wage analysis and has worked to develop community benefits agreements in Petaluma and Oakland. Originally from the East Coast, ST completed her undergraduate degree in Women's Studies and Anthropology from Wesleyan University. She moved to the Bay Area to undertake a Master's in Public Policy from The Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley which she completed in 2004. |

Crispin joined the HPP staff as a Management Analyst in November 2006. His major projects include the Healthier Outcomes through Multi-disciplinary Engagement (HOME) Team and the Aging 2020 project, which seeks to project demographic data for San Mateo County. Previously, Crispin served as a Policy Analyst for an applied health policy research unit of the University of California, Office of the President. He received bachelor degrees from UC Davis in International Relations and Spanish in 2000 and his Master's in Public Policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy at Berkeley in 2003. His Master's thesis, "Increasing Access to Healthcare for Latino Children in California: A Case Study of the Underutilization of Healthy Families," was written for the Latino Issues Forum. Crispin is a Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow and an International Javits Fellow.

Wale began working with the Health Policy and Planning unit in October 2007. Her projects are focused on promoting health education within Middle School Youth Development, School Wellness, and African American Community Health Advisory Committee (AACHAC). Prior to joining the Health Department Wale worked for the Environmental Protection Agency as a Human Health Risk Assessor researching, educating, and collaborating with schools to educate the public about the adverse health effects associated with environmental contaminants, such as mercury, lead, and pesticides. Wale attended Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine where she received her MSPH and her BS from Xavier University of Louisiana.

| Jenn began working with the Health Policy and Planning unit in October 2006. She provides oversight to the implementation of the Prevention of Childhood Obesity Blueprint and is exploring the role of public health in the built environment. Jenn has previous experience in planning, implementing and evaluating public health programs domestically and internationally. She most recently returned from an assignment with Peace Corps Uganda where she worked as a Health Advisor to the Uganda Red Cross Society and as an HIV/AIDS Programs Officer for a rural hospital. Jenn attended Emory University where she received her BS in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and MPH in International Health. |

| Isabel oversees the satellite broadcast training for the Health Department as well as the clerical functions of Health Policy and Planning. She joined the San Mateo County Health Department in 1996, and has experience working with the Public Health Clinics in East Palo Alto and San Mateo, Immunization and Disease Control and Prevention. |

| Naida works in the Planning arm of Health Policy and Planning. Her projects are focused on the Prevention of Childhood Obesity Taskforce and the HPP Internship Program. She has been in the Public Health field for 10 years. She has previously worked as a Program Assistant for the Tobacco Prevention Program at Yolo County Health Department and as a Community Outreach Specialist for the Asian American Donor Program (a non-profit organization in Oakland). Naida has a Bachelor's degree from UC Davis and hopes to someday get her MSN and become a public health nurse. |

| Doris is currently overseeing the Linguistic Access implementation plan, providing Social Marketing expertise to health department and community projects, and serving as Public Information Officer (PIO) support. She began working at the San Mateo County Health Department in March 2003 and has led projects related to physical activity promotion with older adults, risk communication, pandemic flu planning for limited-English proficient residents, and disaster preparedness with the Latino Community. Prior to joining the Health Department Doris worked as a Research Associate at the School of Medicine at UCLA looking at the impact of Intimate Partner Violence on health and mother-child relationship for pregnant Latinas. She also worked as a Community Health Worker for the Los Angeles County, STD Program where she conducted STD/HIV outreach to Latino recent immigrant day laborers and Latina garment workers and before then as a Health Management intern at the CHASS community center in Southwest Detroit, Michigan. Doris received her Master’s in Public Health from UCLA in and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration at Santa Clara University. |

| Angela works in the Policy arm of Health Policy and Planning. Her projects are focused on Built Environment development, Service Mapping and grant writing. Angela coordinates website development for HPP and the Blue Ribbon Task Force on Adult Health Care Coverage Expansion. She also oversees the Health Department's reporting on customer satisfaction and outcome-based management. Angela joined the Health Department in August of 2003 and has experience working in Environmental Health, Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Housing. In 2003 she received her BA in Sociology-Organizational Studies (with a focus on non-profit organizations) and Minor in Education from the University of California, Davis. |

| Srija serves as lead staff for a Health System Redesign Initiative involving the San Mateo Medical Center, the Health Department and the Health Plan of San Mateo. This two-year initiative aims to design and implement a new, sustainable and creative approach to healthcare delivery that incorporates key recommendations of the Health Management Associates Phase 2 Final Report and the recommendations of the Blue Ribbon Task Force on Adult Health Care Coverage Expansion. She also oversees the Children's Health Initiative, which provides universal health insurance for children in San Mateo County. Srija has more than a decade of experience in health policy and community health issues, including several senior roles in the public, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors. She received her BA and MBA degrees from Stanford University. |

| Katie joined the Health Policy and Planning unit in January 2007. Working from the Planning arm, her work focuses on supporting youth development efforts across San Mateo County and within the Health Department. Previous to joining the Health Department, Katie served as an AmeriCorps First 5 Service Corps member at 4Cs of San Mateo enrolling families in health insurance plans through the Children's Health Initiative. She spent time in Guatemala as a Peace Corps volunteer building appropriate technologies in rural communities. Originally from the South, Katie attended UNC Chapel Hill and receeived her BA in Anthropology and Latin American Studies. |
