TAKE YOUR GARDENING TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Registration for the 2007 Master Gardener Training Course Now Open
Half Moon Bay, Calif. -- The University of California Cooperative Extension will be offering its second Master Gardener Training Course for San Mateo and San Francisco Counties in September 2007.
Classes will be held at the Belmont Library on Wednesdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from September 5 through November 14. The library is located at 1110 Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont.
Students will learn about all aspects of home gardening. After completing the course, trainees will be required to volunteer 75 hours within the following year on gardening projects around the county and the Cooperative Extension Office Gardening Help Line.
The deadline for registration is June 1. To download a copy of the application, go to the UC Cooperative Extension Web site at http://cesanmateo.ucdavis.edu and click on the Master Gardener link. Upon acceptance into the program, students must pay a fee of $175.
