STAFF IN HOUSING PROGRAMS:
- promote sound housing to protect heath and safety;
- help people who have individual water supplies or sewage disposal systems;
- find potential sources of children's exposure to lead;
- look into complaints of noise pollution;
- oversee landfills to ensure public health and safety; and
- protect the people from disease, discomfort, annoyance, and economic loss from insects and animals.
