HOME HEALTH AGENCIES Most of these agencies provide licensed registered and vocational nurses, certified home health aides, personal care attendants and homemakers. They are supervised on a 24-hour basis. Check with individual agencies about payment. Most accept private pay and private insurance. It is important that you verify whether the worker is actually an employee of the agency and if the worker is covered by the agency's Workers Compensation policy.
