San Francisco Bay Area Kids Need Homes
Each week, KPIX TV airs "Brian's Kids," a spot in which Channel 5 meteorologist Brian Sussman presents a news segment devoted to finding loving and nurturing families for children waiting to be adopted. The program currently airs during the Monday, noon news, and Wednesday, 5pm news. They also have a website with useful information about foster care and adoption, links to county agencies, and a directory of related sites.

North Peninsula Neighborhood Services Center

Pacifica Resource Center
Serving the residents of Pacifica, Service Specialists provide crisis intervention and preliminary casework and counseling, in addition to the following: referrals to AFDC, food stamps, mental health, public health, Youth Employment Program, and emergency shelter; free clothing giveaway on the 1st and 15th of each month; Summer Jobs for Youth Program; emergency food; rental assistance; and free bread on Tuesdays after 10:30am.
