Health Officer Presents Results of San Mateo County Health and Quality of Life Survey
Are San Mateo County Residents Any Better Off?
| WHAT: |
The San Mateo County Health Officer will release the report, 2008 Community Assessment: Health & Quality of Life in San Mateo County, and provide analysis of the report’s findings. This report on the health status of San Mateo County residents reveals trends in health care access; prenatal care; the needs of seniors; leading causes of premature death; and mental health status. The report also touches on quality of life issues, such as, the local economy, cost of living, education, child care, homelessness; and traffic congestion. |
