The surrounding vegetation is made up of coast redwood, madrone and brush. Expect warm to hot weather in the summer ranging from 70°F-90°F. A nearby horseshoe pit is provided, but equipment is not, nor is it rented. There are also two sand volleyball courts with nets (bring your own volleyball) at the end of the grassy meadows.
