WIC: Women Infants and Children Program

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program is a supplemental nutrition education program to promote and maintain the health of pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants and children from birth to five years of age.


WIC provides nutrition information, promotes and supports breastfeeding and provides vouchers for nutritious foods. To learn more about WIC's services, check out the videos below.

Who is Eligible

  • Families with a low to medium income. Working families may qualify.
  • WIC Income Guidelines Table (PDF) - 185% Federal Poverty Level - Effective April 1, 20014 until further notice
  • Women and their children who need better nutrition and who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or just had a baby
  • Children under 5 years old (including foster children)

How to Apply

Call the WIC clinic in your area to schedule an appointment (Office locations are listed under contact us). You will be told on the phone what to bring to your appointment.
